Strategic Communications

Strategic Communications develops, implements and manages strategic, actionable, achievable internal and external communication plans in support of York's academic priorities by enhancing or protecting the University's brand and reputation. The unit is also responsible for the development and implementation of institutional digital media plans and strategies, as well as the production of York’s alumni publication, The York University Magazine, and YFile, York’s daily electronic newsletter for faculty and staff.
